The agentic platform for multi-unit franchising
Purpose-built for franchising.
Not adapted to it.
A group, its entities and its locations are the model underneath, not a template on top. The documents it reads are franchise agreements and leases. The calendar is your brand’s. The reports are the ones a franchisor, a lender and you each ask for — all off one ledger.
AI agents draft the books every night, and nothing they draft posts until a person approves it.

Purpose-built
Six things a general ledger would have to be taught.
Each exists only because of who this is for.
01
A group, its entities, its locations
One login. Each entity keeps its own books; each location is a dimension inside them. Store P&L, entity statements and the group rollup come off the same ledger, not three exports.
02
Franchise agreements as rules
Royalty, ad fund and percentage rent are read out of the agreement with the clause cited, and computed per period from the register — for the life of the agreement, not from a spreadsheet somebody maintains.
03
Your brand’s calendar
A 4-4-5 or 13-period year that closes on the weekday the brand closes on, so the royalty week and the accounting week are the same week and a restated day raises a delta, never an edit.
04
A chart that stays comparable
Accounts unify by code, then by name, across every store — so one location’s Repairs & Maintenance is never another’s Building Expenses, and a store P&L means the same thing in every market.
05
The trade’s own words
Name the trade once. The chart template, the modules, the vocabulary and the connections follow from an industry profile — store or studio or property, member or check or folio — instead of a general ledger being taught them.
06
What the franchisor asks for
Franchisor reporting in the format they require. Brand-standards audit findings with an owner and a deadline each. Licences and permits raised before they lapse. The obligations a franchise carries, kept as obligations.
What the price buys
An agentic software platform and a named accounting lead. One number.
Software on its own is a tool you still have to staff. A firm on its own is people doing by hand what a machine should have done overnight. Kite is the accounting function itself, taken over — and the two halves are priced as one thing because that is how they work.

The agentic platform
A system you log into, with AI agents working inside it — not a service that emails you a spreadsheet.
- You get a login of your own. The books, the queue, every document and every report are on your screen, live — not summarised out of somebody else’s system once a month.
- The agents act on a schedule rather than on request. Feeds arrive, documents are read, money is matched and the entries are drafted overnight, whether or not anyone opens the app.
- They read what you signed and what you were billed — leases, franchise agreements, bills, bank and delivery statements — and cite the clause or line each number came from.
- The model interprets and proposes. Deterministic engines do the arithmetic, so no figure that moves money is something a model made up.
- Every automation has its own switch. Off stops the agent, not the work — the button that does it by hand is still there.
Nothing it produces reaches the ledger on its own.
Half two · people
Kite’s accounting experts
Kite’s dedicated human experts, who do franchise books all day, working inside that same system with you.
- A named lead owns your books and works your queue every morning, before you have opened it.
- The same people all month, so nobody re-learns your entities, your brands or your chart in week three.
- They take the judgement: what did not match, what the model was unsure of, what a document does not say.
- They close the month, produce the package, and answer the franchisor and the lender in the format each asks for.
- Under twenty locations the team behind your lead is shared; from twenty it is yours alone, at the same rate.
A task closes only when a check over your own data passes.
Every capability
57 things that stop being your problem.

Built so you can check it
Trust is a property of the books, not a promise.
01
A person confirms.
Nothing the model drafts reaches the ledger until a person approves it, and every entry records who prepared it and who approved it.
02
Every number cites its source.
The clause, the register line or the bank line it came from, one click away from the figure.
03
The ledger can be replayed.
Every posting is traceable to the rule and the document that produced it, so the books can be rebuilt and checked.
Start with a few stores.
Four fields. A person replies within one business day.
